The Daphnes play modern chamber pop compositions featuring Monica Schley (harp and voice), Nate Omdal (bass) and Julie Baldridge (violin). This unconventional trio draws sounds from neo-folkster M. Ward, 90’s alternative bands Mazzy Star and Cowboy Junkies, and jazz musicians Pharaoh Sanders and Alice Coltrane. http://monicaschley.com/daphnes/
Ivory Smith is a songwriter/composer showcasing the powerful contemporary capabilities and possibilities of the vocal instrument. Her honest and haunted songwriting style encompasses and enchants. Ivory is delighted to be working as a solo artist after many years of ensemble work, with pop/rock bands Bloodbunny, as band leader of Ivory in Ice World and as part of the acclaimed performance-art ensembles Foot in Mouth and Lingo Dance Theater. http://ivorysmith.com/music-2/bands/
Goatgirl is the story-ballads of performance artist/comedian, composer, musician, vocalist, Jeppa K Hall (aka Queen Shmooquan). Goatgirl’s skillful storytelling and unique melodic sensibilities merge with parlor guitar accompaniment and an unusual voice (a la Malvina Reynolds and Peggy Seeger), to deliver uncommon, thought provoking, hybridized folk music. https://www.facebook.com/Goatgirlmusic
